Advertising Cylinder controller

The advertising cylinder (textile) is mounted on a mast, and rotates by motor. In strong winds, it is retracted automatically.

Concept

  • Data logging of operating conditions, wind strength, vibrations and temperatures
  • GMS radio connection to an FTP server
  • Robust electronics for outdoor use

Development

  • Development of Electronics Hardware: ARM Cortex-M, DC / DC converter, power stages for motor, magnet and heating, sensors for wind strength, vibration, temperature and current consumption, connection to GSM communications module

Wireless Calibration System

Project management, synchronization of development teams in Germany and India, serial production. The objective was to develop a highly accurate calibration system to calibrate tachographs in commercial vehicles using wireless communication methods. Development had to cover a range of different tachographs and countries.

  • Separation of the functionality app into legally relevant and non-relevant parts according to the WELMEC standard

The Bluetooth adapter replaces a conventional, e.g. Serial interface through a wireless Bluetooth connection. As a result, an efficient communication with a tablet or smartphone can be made, with which a modern and intuitive user interface can be realized.
