Advertising Cylinder controller

The advertising cylinder (textile) is mounted on a mast, and rotates by motor. In strong winds, it is retracted automatically.

Wireless Calibration System

Scope

Project management, synchronization of development teams in Germany and India, serial production. The objective was to develop a highly accurate calibration system to calibrate tachographs in commercial vehicles using wireless communication methods. Development had to cover a range of different tachographs and countries.

• Wireless communication between a tablet system, a calibration module and a light barrier
• Separation of the functionality app into legally relevant and non-relevant parts according to the WELMEC standard

Archiving and analysis solution for vehicle and driver data from the commercial vehicle environment.

The developed device combines a USB interface with a digital tachograph interface, as well as a chip card reader for reading the control card. The products in the DLKPro family are configured and operated via a 2.4” colour touch screen.

Concept

Development of four different housing versions together with an industrial designer; production of a Mockup sample.. The User Interface was designed using different Usability- Methods and simulated / tested using Click- Dummys.

Project management in a pure offshore project with development in India. Apart from the Indian developers, the project team included the USA, Germany and Romania from a total of 7 companies.

Development of UV-LED light source

Implementation with UV LEDs as chip on board (COB, photo) or with housed LEDs. The wavelength is in the UVA range. The unit has a high radiation density and is used to cure photosensitive ink . In addition, temperature monitoring is integrated. The power of the unit is dimmable.
