Wireless Calibration System

Scope

Project management, synchronization of development teams in Germany and India, serial production. The objective was to develop a highly accurate calibration system to calibrate tachographs in commercial vehicles using wireless communication methods. Development had to cover a range of different tachographs and countries.

Function  

• Wireless communication between a tablet system, a calibration module and a light barrier
• Separation of the functionality app into legally relevant and non-relevant parts according to the WELMEC standard
• Development and implementation of the app in 29 languages
• Configuring a kiosk system
• Approval of the measurement system in different EU countries
